Course : Light Motor Vehicles-

LMV Course Description: The LMV course is EDI's most popular course. It prepares students for the Traffic Police Driving Test, enabling students to get a Dubai Driving License category 3. Students completing this course and passing the Traffic Police Tests are licensed to drive either manual or automatic transmission light motor vehicle, such as cars and SUVs.

Course Contents: The Light Motor Vehicle Course consists of Simulator training, lectures, yard and Road Training. Emirates Driving Institute ranks as one of the few establishments to have installed state-of-the-art simulators. These simulators enable students to get a feel of the various functions of the vehicle whilst handling it in the classroom, through a synchronized film running on the screen and having varied traffic patterns as one would expect in reality on the road.

Course Content: The Heavy Vehicles – Trucks course prepares students for the Dubai Traffic Police Driving Test, enabling students to get a Dubai Driving License category 4. Students completing this course and passing the Traffic Police Tests are licensed to drive Heavy trucks. This course has the same technical contents as the others plus it includes information on load restraint.

• Road Test date is dependant on the result of the Assessment test which can be Excellent, Very Good, Good, Moderate and Weak.
• Between each road test a student must take minimum 8 classes.
  
  

Course : Heavy Bus -HVB

Course Content: The Heavy Bus course prepares students for the Traffic Police Driving Test, enabling students to get a Dubai Driving License category 6. Students completing this course and passing the Dubai Traffic Police Tests are licensed to drive passenger buses. This Course has the same technical content as the others plus the emphasis on passenger care and safety. The driver should ensure his passengers specially children are seated properly, or are holding the handrails and he should know what to do in an emergency such as fire or accident.

• Road Test date is dependant on the result of the Assessment test which can be Excellent, Very Good, Good, Moderate and Weak.
• Between each road test a student must take minimum 8 classes.
  
  

Course : Light Forklifts -LFRL

Course Content: The Light Forklifts course prepares a student for the Traffic Police Driving Test, enabling students to get a Dubai Driving License category 7. Students completing this course and passing the Dubai Police Tests are licensed to drive light forklifts. The course offers an introduction to the different types of forklifts. Detailed lessons on engine and loading capacity, the different types of levers along with their controls and how to operate in different working areas and in various weather conditions as well as a focus on how to reduce maintenance expenses, increase efficiency, reduce accidents and improve operating skills, form part of the course. Students are taught in detail about load control and how to load various kinds of materials: at which angle will the load be adjustable.

• Road Test date is dependant on the result of the Assessment test which can be Excellent, Very Good, Good, Moderate and Weak.

Course Content: The Heavy Forklifts and Shovels course prepares students for the Traffic Police Driving Test, enabling students to get a Dubai Driving License category 8. Students completing this course and passing Traffic Police Tests are licensed to drive heavy forklifts and shovels. The course offers an introduction to the different types of forklifts and shovels. Motorcycle-MC

Course Content:

Motorcycle Driving Course The Motorcycle course is increasingly popular in Dubai as traffic congestion increases. It prepares students for the RTA Driving Test, enabling students to get a Dubai Driving License category 1. Students completing this course and passing the Road Tests are licensed to drive either manual or automatic transmission motorcycles. This course also teaches turning and cornering at high speeds such as curves on highways and winding roads, especially when the curve is tighter than anticipated, tackling sharp turns from stoplights or stop signs, pulling out of parking spaces or driveways or onto a narrow street.
